Fat freezing or Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical procedure treatment used to destroy fat cells. Its principle relies on controlled cooling of the targeted area to near sub-zero temperatures for non-invasive localised reduction of fat deposits in order to reshape body contours. Fat freezing has been approved by the FDA and is one of the safest non-surgical procedures available at present.
The Science Behind Fat Freezing
The procedure of fat removal by fat freezing is known as apoptosis (controlled cell death). When fat cells are subjected to being cooled below body temperature the freezing causes the fat cells to die followed by a local inflammatory response. Fat freezing or cryolipolysis also makes use of a powerful vacuum which adds to the inflammatory response by drawing blood up to the surface layers of the skin killing the cells. Fat cells are gradually eliminated from the body through the body’s natural waste disposal system called the lymphatic system.

Stubborn fat can is hard to get rid of, despite diet and exercise. Our AW3® Cryolpolysis technology uses controlled freezing to target and break down the fat cells. In just a few weeks, these fat cells will naturally eliminate from the body for good.
To start with, a cryo handle is placed on the area of treatment (usually belly, underarms, love handles, upper legs, etc). The handle creates localised cooling which freeze the fat cells of the targeted area, causing them to leave the body.
There is no discomfort during the fat freezing treatment apart from a small pinch one might feel which subsides within minutes once the area gets cooled.
A typical fat freezing session lasts for 30 mins (per area)
We offer a free one on one consultation with a medical professional, where you can discuss any concerns you may have regarding the fat freezing treatment.
Side effects with fat freezing are rare however mild redness does occur in some cases which usually subsides within a week.
